Abstract

Emission from the vessel has not been taken serious in the past. Recently the concern has been intensified due to the fluctuation of oil price, mature in technology and commercial successful in other similar electric transportation such as train and road vehicle. Based on the modern power electronics, the technology is now ready to be used in vessel. Various type of vessel including boat, ship, tank and submarine are now ready for this revolution. The paper provide a design and technology discussion of the electric vessel development.
