Abstract
A family of zero-current switching fixed frequency square wave resonant converters is proposed. Output voltage of these converters can be regulated by the on-state period of a semiconductor switch; and therefore, they can be operated in fixed switching frequency. All of the switching devices are in zero-current switching and resonant-transition conditions. Therefore the peak current of each switching device is minimised. Complete circuit analysis, computer simulation and experimental results are presented to support the operation of the converters.
