Abstract

The synthesis, electronic structure and X-ray crystal analysis of [Pt(TPrPc)] (H2TPrPc = 2,7,12,17-tetrapropylporphycene) and described. The structure of [Pt(TPrPc)] is similar to that of its NiIIanalogue except for the increase in the distance between the two bipyrrole moieties.
