Abstract
Explores a method for predicting wrinkle recovery associated with viscoelasticity of fibres and inter-fibre friction, compared with results from a KES-FB2 Pure Bending Tester. The results show that predicted wrinkle recovery angle reached its maximum value faster than in experimental results, and that the agreement between predicted and observed results differ between plan and twill fabrics indicating that the weave is an important parameter in predicted results.
