Abstract

Wine tourism destinations that depend on exporting wine and attracting international tourists have suffered severely during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Global wine tourism therefore faces both challenges and opportunities. This chapter discusses the global wine tourism development from the perspectives of wine producers, distributors, and consumers. It also explores wine tourism trends through the lens of supply and demand. Suggestions for the future wine tourism development up to 2042 are provided.
