Abstract

This paper proposes a bootstrap wideband voltage-mode class-D power amplifier. In comparison to traditional class D power amplifiers (PAs), the incorporation of a bootstrap circuit as a driver stage has significantly reduced the complexity of the PA. In this paper, the proposed wideband Class-D power amplifier with high efficiency was achieved with the help of a novel bootstrap driver that. Simulation results indicate that at frequencies ranging from 1 to 2.5GHz, accounting for a relative bandwidth of 85%. Its saturated output power exceeds 38.5dBm, with a maximum Power Added Efficiency (PAE) of 60%.
