Abstract
Waveform relaxation has been applied to the transient analysis of single lossy transmission lines with a substantial speed improvement compared with conventional method. In this paper, the method has been extended to simulate lossy transmission lines connected in cascade. Three algorithms based on waveform relaxation analysis have been investigated and used to simulate a hybrid transmission line terminated in Thevenin equivalent circuits. The results are shown to be consistent with those obtained by conventional method.
