Abstract

This article replies to the commentary published in Reliability Engineering and System Safety: “Understanding Near-miss Count Data on Construction Sites using Greedy D-vine Copula Marginal Regression: A comment” by Love and Tenekedjiev (2022). The main objective of this reply is to clarify the theoretical assumptions in the original paper, justify the effectiveness of the proposed approach, and indicate how the approach can be used in practice to promote safety in construction.
