Ultrahigh sensitivity low-cost optical fiber temperature sensors

Abstract

A high sensitivity, low-cost optical fiber temperature sensor is proposed. Its sensitivity and resolution are 11.66nm/? and 8.3×10 -5 ? over the interval of 28-41?. It is larger 1000 times than that of FBG sensors.
