Ultrahigh Sensitivity Low-Cost Optical Fiber Temperature Sensors

Abstract

A high sensitivity, low-cost optical fiber temperature sensor is proposed. Its sensitivity and resolution are 11.66nm/°C and 8.3×10-5 °C over the interval of 28-41 °C. It is larger 1000 times than that of FBG sensors.
