    An introduction to the organization and people and facilities of the Institute of History and Philology at the Academia Sincia in Taipei from its founding in 1928 in Guangzhou (Canton) to its 70th anniversary in 1998 in Taipei. Coverage includes personal research areas, focuses and selected projects of research fellows in the sections of History, Archaeology, Anthropology, and Paleography, as well as major collective projects.
