Abstract
Two methods have been commonly adopted in the loadflow study of sparse DC traction systems. The present paper will introduce the concept of three tracking techniques. Their effectiveness are discussed with references to case studies on the traction system of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) of Hong Kong.
