Abstract

Linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) is never a popular choice for high precision and high speed motion actuator. This paper presents simple algorithm for control LSRM. The cascade control structure is implemented to control LSRM. The second discrete filter control is applied to position control; lookup table force linearization scheme is applied to force and current control. With the advantages of the combination of nonlinear and linear, this method, compared with traditional linear control, evidently restrains the influence on servomotor by the nonlinear factors such as unknown load condition and friction etc. and, compared with the completely nonlinear control, has more extensive application with the simple control arithmetic to realize easily. Simulation results verify efficiency of proposed algorithm.
