Abstract

The size effect in the AgOx-type super-resolution near-field structure (Super-RENS) was investigated using photoacoustic measurements. The absorption spectra for AgOx-type Super-RENS with different thickness were obtained and the blue shift of the peak position of absorption spectra was observed. The relationship between intensity of the absorption peak and thickness of the AgOx layer was also presented. Results showed that the wavelength of the absorption peak for the sample with the 15 nm AgOx layer was maximal.
