Abstract

With the development of inertial sensor, gravity disturbance have become the uppermost error source of INS use of the normal gravity in the mechanization equations. So the improvement of INS position accuracy by use of the EGM96 model and the improved gravity model after GOCE mission is analysed. Finally, the requirement of gravity accuracy is deduced for the pure INS with high precision in the future.
