Abstract
The subjective perceptions and personal experiences of the Astro program participants were explored by qualitative evaluation methods. A wide range of participants including those who experienced positive changes and those who did not, were recruited for a more comprehensive picture of their experiences. Questions regarding the participants' experiences of the project were asked. The in-depth interview data based on 30 participants showed that their experiences with the program were very positive. They appreciated the unique characteristics of the program, observed positive changes in the program participants, and felt that the program was helpful to themselves and adolescents in general. If they could, most of the participants would join the program again.
