Examines the laws in China governing multimodal transport contracts, including the regimes relating to the carriage of goods by sea, road, rail, air and inland waterway. Outlines the hierarchy of laws, regulations and rules in China and the other sources of law. Discusses the principles for determining the law applicable to international contracts. Considers specific issues relating to the enforcement of international multimodal transport agreements in the jurisdiction.
