    Abstract

This study examines the longer-term impact of compulsory service-learning (C-SL) on graduates’ continual civic engagement in a large public university in Hong Kong. The higher post-graduation civic engagement we found among C-SL alumni suggests that C-SL could be a potent civic educator for impact that lasts.
