Abstract

This paper reports a novel method to fabricate barrier layer free TiO2nanotube arrays and its application for dyesensitized solar cells. Through two-step anodization and utilization of surface stress, the TiO2nanotube arrays were detached from the Ti foil and stick onto the FTO glass to fabricate DSSCs. Through the optimization of film thickness, the highest conversion efficiency of 8.12% was achieved.
