Technological impacts on knowledge sharing: A case study of three travel agencies in Hong Kong

Abstract

This research examines how Information and Communication Technology affects knowledge sharing behaviours in travel agencies. Its objectives were addressed through a qualitative methodology involving in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. The results show that technological factors are embedded within the culture of the work environment. It is recommended that management should put more emphasis on knowledge sharing strategies to achieve long-term success.
