Abstract

Dimeric gadolinium complexes containing polyaminopolycarboxylate bisamide ligands have been synthesized and characterized. They contain one coordinated water molecule in the solid state and in aqueous medium. Their thermodynamic stability is found to be high and suitable for MRI investigation.
