N2 - Apart from the conventional nanostructures mentioned in the previous chapters, the 1D mesoporous inorganic nanomaterials are designed with certain special constructions for multifarious functional applications, such as core–shell, ordered mesoporous, hierarchically mesoporous structures and so on. This chapter is dedicated to the methods and techniques which have been used to afford the synthesis of these special 1D mesoporous inorganic nanostructures.
