Abstract

μ4-Oxo-centered tetranuclear lanthanide (Gd, Tb) clusters with the 1,3-bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylamino)propan-2-ol (H3L) ligand have been synthesized and their crystal structure and magnetic properties are presented.
