Abstract

The reaction of [Os3(μ-H)(CO)11]-(1) with CuIIsalts in dichloromethane gave the yellow cluster [Os3(μ-H)(CO)10(μ4-η3-CO2)Os3(μ-H)(CO)10] (2) amongst several other known products; 2 has been fully characterized by both spectroscopic and crystallographic methods.
