Abstract

The main parameters that influence the resonance wireless power transfer system when a motor is used as the load are analyzed aiming at solving the wireless charging issues. By designing the wireless transfer system with suitable parameters can enhance the stability of the power transfer under inductive load. Firstly, based on the series DC motor, the relationship among the torque, rotate speed and the DC voltage is analyzed. An equivalent resistive model of the motor is obtained. Then, a simulation of the motor under the start mode and a speed regulation control is implemented by the Simulink software. The torque-speed mechanical characteristic of motor is obtained when using the wireless power transfer. Finally, a wireless power charging system for the DC motor is designed to meet different torque requirements. The transfer distance is 6 cm.
