Abstract
This article presents a method for introducing fuzzy logic into a conventional α-β tracker in an attempt to improve its tracking ability for maneuvering targets. To evaluate the performance of the fuzzy tracker, we compare its tracking ability with that of the original α-β tracker. Both simulated and real radar data is used for the comparison. Results show that the fuzzy tracker performs better.
