Abstract

On basis of clarifying the feasibility and importance of developing cooperative freight transport operation, this paper attempts to show the optimal expected payoff for the companies which involve in a suitable form of cooperative strategy named joint-delivery. For obtaining the result, first, a location mathematic model is designed according to the characteristic of joint-delivery to calculate the optimal payoff for the whole alliance. Then pieces of expected shares are allocated to each partner company by using the Shapely Value which comes from cooperative game theory. At last an illustrative example is shown to demonstrate these theories.
