Abstract
A grid framework based teaching assistant system (EGP-System, Education Grid Platform) was proposed which adopted a bus based resource sharing and remote control technologies. Furthermore, a thin resource encapsulating interface modular was development which can be used to easily implement the inter-connectivity and inter-communication of campus computers and other electronic-resources. As a result of the application of EGP, a remotely collaborative teaching model, and a new highly communicated education environment was proposed. The aim of EGP was to provide students and teachers a virtual, integrated, and peer-to-peer communication environment which will result in the improvement of study efficiency and interesting, and make education keep up with the step of science and technologies. The framework, key technology and functions and application of EGP were addressed in the paper.
