Abstract
Nanocomposites of multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) modified poly(3,4-ethelene dioxythiophene): poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) was examined and used as hole injection layer of OLEDs based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates with indium tin oxide (ITO). The electrical properties of nanocomposites of MWCNTs modified PEDOT:PSS were studied. Devices with different construction were fabricated based on the aqueous pristine PEDOT:PSS and nanocomposites of MWCNTs modified PEDOT:PSS. The current-voltage-luminescence (I-V-L) characteristics of the devices were examined. It was found that high light intensity can be obtained by adopting nanocomposites of MWNTs modified PEDOT:PSS as hole injection layer of OLEDs.
