Abstract
Two new nanohybrid 2,5-bis(ferrocenylethynyl)thiophene (BFET)/ dimethyldioctadecyl-ammonium (DMDOA)/tungstophosphoric heteropolyacids (HPA, HPA=H3PW12O40, H6P2W18O62) LB films were prepared and characterized by π-A isotherms, UV-vis absorption spectra, atomic force microscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy, surface photo voltage spectroscopy and fluorescence spectra. The results indicated that the title LB films had the nanosize and quite strong photovoltage response in the visible region. The tunneling current was ±100 nA, when voltage was ±2.0 V.
