Abstract
Structural and mechanical behavior of polypropylene/maleated styrene-(ethylene-co-butylene)-styrene/sisal fiber (PP/MA-SEBS/SF) composites prepared by using injection molding was presented. Wide-angle x-ray diffraction analysis (WAXD) indicated that the α form and β form of the PP crystals coexisted in the PP/MA-SEBS/SF composites. The results showed that the maximum impact force, impact-fracture energy, total impact duration, crack-initiation time and crack-propagation time of the composites increased with increasing MA-SEBS content.
