Abstract

We report stimulated Raman photothermal spectroscopy (SRPTS) on an optical nanofiber (NF) for tracing hydrogen. With an NF of ~50 mm in length and ~700 nm in diameter, we have demonstrated hydrogen detection down to 274 ppm under 1 bar with 350 mW pump and 150 mW Stokes power and 1 s lock-in time constant.
