Abstract

A spacing-tunable multiwavelength fiber laser source is demonstrated by using a semiconductor optical amplifier and a novel free-spectral-range tunable Fabry-Pérot filter with superimposed, chirped-fiber Bragg gratings. Continuous tuning of 0.3-0.6 nm has been realized.
