Smart mobile devices have brought us great convenience and have met the demands that other tools have been unable to fulfil. In this study we conduct observations, questionnaires and focus group interviews to collect data, with the aim of understanding Hong Kong young people mobile lifestyle transformation brought about by smart communication. We set up a PSDS (people, society, device and service) model with the purpose to better understand the interactive relationship between people and smart mobile devices. The findings implicate inspiration and direction for better user experience design in smart communication.
