Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR) and chromatic dispersion (CD) monitoring simultaneously in NRZ-DPSK and DQPSK systems by using single 2-dimension (2-D) phase portrait, which is generated by single-channel sampling technique.
