Abstract
We demonstrate simultaneous compression and coherent combination of multiple optical pulses in nonlinear optical fibers with exponentially decreasing dispersion. Five chirped hyperbolic secant pulses coalesce into a single pulse with nearly hyperbolic secant pulse shape.
