Abstract
We demonstrate a simple optical-fiber-based autocorrelator based on degree-of-polarization measurement while tuning a DGD element. The pulse widths of 20∼80 GHz pulse trains and 2-ps pulses generated by a mode-lock laser are accurately measured.
