Abstract

This letter advances a new polynomial-rooting-based algorithm for multiple-source azimuth-elevation direction-finding and polarization estimation, using dipoles, loops, and/or circularly polarized antennas, which may arbitrarily collocate or orient on an L-shaped uniformly spaced array grid. The number, orientations or types of these antennas may vary from array grid point to array grid point.
