Abstract
The performance of servomotors and their controllers is vital to advanced motion control systems. In this paper,the model of permanent magnet servomotors is presented. Several robust control theories and their applications in servomotors are introduced respectively. DSPs, which are used to implement these advanced control algorithms, are also emphasized. A summarization is made at the end.
