Abstract
The invention discloses a ring-focus spectacle lens for controlling myopia progression and a manufacturing method thereof.
While the ring-focus spectacle lens can provide patients with clear vision, it also has a plurality of ring-shaped defocusing regions
to form an optical defocusing effect. Due to using a tangent continuous connectionmode, there are no seams between
concentric rings with different optical powers, so that the ring-focus spectacle lens is as beautiful as a normal spectacle
lens. The manufacturing method of the present invention uses three front mold cores, a set of rear mold cores and a flat surface
rearmold core to manufacture a series of ring-focus spectacle lenses with different degrees, thereby reducing the number
of mold cores and production costs. Meanwhile, the manufacturing method provides a semi-finished lens for the needs of high
myopia and high astigmatism, which not only greatly reduces the number of mold cores, but also reduces the inventory of required
lenses, thereby reducing costs.
