N2 - There is much advancement in human-machine shared control system of automated vehicle over time. This paper introduces current status and history of shared control system of automated vehicle. Then, several features of shared control system are analyzed in detail in connection with human-machine interaction, authority and transaction in shared control and human-machine interface. Finally, the future issues to be researched are discussed, including reliability and safety requirement and human factor.
