Abstract

The small volume fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensor head designed by using special package technique with polymer material is characterized by simultaneous measurement of pressure and temperature, which can solve the temperature cross-sensitivity of FBG effectively. Simultaneous measurement of the pressure and temperature only by one grating based on the two reflective peaks with different pressure and temperature sensitivity coefficients through the process of packaging FBG was demonstrated.
