Abstract

To resolve the problems existed in most of current experimental systems which were usually composed of independent devices, such as real-time performance, inter-telecommunication and efficiency, an integrated and modularized active Lamb wave SHM system and its software based on standardized general BUS platform technique was proposed. This system can integrate all the necessary devices for the application conveniently for its openness character. At the same time, standard PZT sensor and sensor network control technique were also researched. Validation for the system design was conducted by experiments. The experimental results indicated that the proposed system can fulfill the application requests of the online active Lamb wave SHM with good openness, timeliness and compatibility.
