Research on excitation controller of synchronous generator based on DSP

Abstract

A new excitation controller of synchronous generator is designed basing on special motor control DSP TMS320F2812 and fuzzy PID in this paper. High reliable synchronous signal capture module, phase shift trigger pulse generating module make use of plentiful resource of TMS320F2812, which makes the hardware of the excitation controller simpler and more reliable. PED fuzzy control is employed in software design, which improves the dynamic performance of the excitation controller.
