Abstract
The research scope of the steel research group at Hong Kong Polytechnic is presented, covering stability and dynamics, system identification and damage assessment of semi-rigid jointed steel frames, and composite steel-concrete structures and their connections. Their work is mutually complementary in that the experimental data and software developed are distributed among the group.
