Abstract

The ability of young monkeys to recover from form-deprivation myopia (FDM) was studied. Refractive error, corneal curvature and the eye's axial dimensions were measured periodically during and after the period of deprivation. Results indicate that recovery from moderate levels of FDM is reasonably accurate in young monkeys.
