Abstract

The design of a real-time programmable filter capable of processing complex signals and possessing independent freedom in the choice of its amplitude and phase characteristics is reported. The filtering system, which is based on chirp transform modules, has been implemented simply using ultrasonic dispersive delay lines. Experimental results demonstrating the feasibility of the approach are presented.
