Abstract
A real-time electro-mechanical transient power system simulator has been developed at the University of Bath over a number of years since its introduction the use of this simulator has been expanded from a research oriented project to a practical tool for both undergraduate teaching and on-line power system applications. This paper describes the simulator and these two applications.
