Abstract

In this paper, an extraction technique of radiation sources for nonuniform transmission lines is proposed for the first time. The technique, based on solutions of the method of moments (MoM) can numerically determine the coefficients of nonuniform transmission-line equations, in which radiation parameters are included. Numerical examples show that the radiation effect of a right-angle microstrip-line bend is indeed stronger than that of a corresponding 45° mitered bend at high frequency. Microwave Opt Technol Lett.
