Abstract
To understand the views of the program implementers on the Tier 1 Program of the Project P.A.T.H.S., 36 focus groups involving 177 workers were conducted from 2005 to 2009. Previous integrative study showed that the participants generally used positive descriptors to describe the program and utilized positive metaphors to represent the program. The program was also seen as beneficial to the holistic development of the program participants. In this chapter, narratives of the program implementers are presented to illustrate these positive findings. In conjunction with the findings based on focus groups conducted for the program participants, the present findings suggest that the Tier 1 Program of the Project P.A.T.H.S. was able to promote the holistic development of junior secondary school students in Hong Kong.
